DURCON-VICE, since its foundation strives to build relationships, believing in growth built in partnership with the whole society.

We demonstrate this commitment to social responsibility in many ways:

  • Creating economic growth and development, resulting in the generation of jobs and income;
  • Sponsoring initiatives that seek social development through culture or sport;
  • Acting ethically and considering the expectations of all stakeholders;
  • Contributing also to the association “Sitio Angar”, which is a project aimed at the welfare of children and adolescents with HIV, separated by their families by court order;
  • Making social investments focused on education of children and adolescents. DURCON-VICE since its foundation, has contributed to assert the rights of children and adolescents through the socio-educational programs and projects of Foundation ABRINQ;
  • DURCON-VICE is certified by Foundation ABRINQ for over 10 years as a children-friendly company by meeting all the requirements of the Statute, including contribution and total attendance to the 10 commandments.

Commandments:

  1. Refuse child labor, not employing children under 16, except as apprentices and only above 14.
  2. Give respect the young worker, not employing children under 18 in evening, dangerous or unhealthy activities.
  3. Alert suppliers, through contractual clause or other instruments, that a proven complaint of child labor, can cause disruption of business relationship.
  4. Provide daycare or childcare cost-assistance for the children of employees.
  5. Ensure that employees enroll their children under 18 in elementary and undertake all efforts to attend school.
  6. Encourage and assist pregnant employees to perform prenatal care and inform about the importance of the measure.
  7. Stimulate nourishment, giving conditions so that female employees can breastfeed their infant until 6 months of age.
  8. Direct the staff to provide the registration of the birth of their children.
  9. Make social investment in children or adolescents compatible with the size of the company, according to what has been established by the Foundation ABRINQ.
  10. Contribute to the funds of rights of children and adolescents with the equivalent of 1% of the Income Tax, due as estimated yearly taxable income of the company.
